CHASING THE SUN
I LOVE SUNSETS AND SUNRISES!
I ALWAYS FIND MYSELF CHASING THE SUN!
Silanguin Cove Memories Part 1
Last April, I spent 3 days and 2 nights at this beautiful cove. Thank you Sir Dan for bringing me here.

ANOTHER SUNSET
Sunset at Lingayen Gulf
…
You can take everything I have
You can break everything I am
Like I'm made of glass
Like I'm made of paper
Go on and try to tear me down
I will be rising from the ground
Like a skyscraper
Like a skyscraper.
skyscraper by Demi Lovato
I was listening to this song while doing this post. I really don’t know what to say or write along with it. But the song really made a huge impact on me. So what a better way to present my new post and probably my last post this July is to incorporate some parts of the lyrics that represents me personally and with what I’m going through. That inspite of all these trials, I will rise up from the ground like a skyscraper. God Bless you all!

Binmaley Sunset
Binmaley is the town in between Lingayen and Dagupan City. The town is also famous for it’s bangus and numerous fishponds. This is the setting or location of my new sunset photos. As always, I was inside the jeepney when I said stop to the jeepney driver just to take pictures. I was in the middle of the road surrounded with nothing but fishponds. Everybody was staring at me thinking what the hell am I doing there, but it was worth it anyway. Enjoy!

SUNSET @ MT. PULAG
A week ago, I was invited to accompany a friend here at Mt. Pulag. All expense paid since I'm already broke. I've never been here before and I've always wanted to go here. It was indeed a dream come true and this could probably my last adventure. Thanks KABSAT for bringing me here and it was nice to finally meet your BAKET and her friend JEN.

DAWEL RIVER SUNRISE
this is the first installment of the photos I took during my one day photowalk in pangasinan using my cousin’s camera.
…chasing the SUN…
I was inside the bus when the sun was rising. I don’t even know where I was…I was lost somewhere in Pangasinan. I suddenly said “stop” to the bus driver. I said stop just to take picture of the sunrise.

and my favorite quotes from my idol…from the movie INTO THE WILD
"So many people live within unhappy circumstances and yet will not take the initiative to change their situation because they are conditioned to a life of security, conformity, and conservatism, all of which may appear to give one peace of mind, but in reality nothing is more dangerous to the adventurous spirit within a man than a secure future. The very basic core of a man's living spirit is his passion for adventure. The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun."

eye in the sky
taken january 5, 2011. I was having second thoughts whether to post this or not but now I finally decided to. after work I went to mall of asia to watch the sunset. I don’t know why but I feel like watching the sunset that afternoon. I got lost inside the mall and ended up at the smx convention center area. I was surprised to see a church beside smx! I didn’t know that there was a church there. I went in and sat for a couple of minutes. I was depressed again that day. I was lost again somewhere and I hate it. I hate having the blues. a few meters away from the church is the bay area. I bought myself a popcorn and a bottled water and spent the rest of the afternoon at the bay. I left mall of asia at around 9 pm with a smile on my face. I was so happy that day that I couldn’t explain why. after a week I decided to transfer the pics in my laptop and I was surprised to see an eye in the sky. who’s eye is it? still remains a mystery to me…
before the formation of the eye figure
now look closely, the eye in the sky…
here’s a close-up view
the eye is full of detail…don’t you think? up until now I still get goosebumps everytime I stare at this picture. now im sharing it to the rest of the world.
GOODBYE MANILA

TONDOL BEACH SUNRISE
I love sunrise and sunset. I woke up early to witness this.
St. Joseph Church at Dawn
Pacdal, Baguio City
the dawn is breaking
a light shining through
a light shining through
you're barely waking
and im tangled up in you
yeah
and im tangled up in you
yeah
im open you're closed
where i folllow youll go
where i folllow youll go
i worry i wont see your face
light up again
light up again
even the best fall down sometimes
even the wrong words seem to rhyme
out of the doubt that fills my mind
i somehow find
you and i collide
even the wrong words seem to rhyme
out of the doubt that fills my mind
i somehow find
you and i collide

sunset at pugaro suit
pugaro suit is an island barangay in dagupan city pangasinan. although I am from dagupan, I havent seen the place. if its not for dong ho(escapeislands.com) I wont be having an idea of going here. when I showed some pictures of pantal river here in my blog he mentioned that he stayed somewhere in pugaro. I havent been to pugaro so I was curious about the place. before heading back to manila I decided to pay a visit of this small island barangay.
it was already late in the afternoon and the sun was about to set when I arrived at pantal river mini port, just perpect for another sunset photoshoot!
after a few minutes the boat is already full. headcount of around 25 passengers I guess. I sat in front of the boat, I was so happy coz I have the best seat among the rest. pugaro, here I come…
after 20 minutes of bumpy and wet boat ride we finally arrived…
it was already late in the afternoon when we arrived so I just stayed at the port watching the locals arriving and departing…and besides I don’t wanna miss the sunset. luckily as I was sitting there all alone a bunch of kids came and join me! it was a lot of fun!
and finally…the sunset
I had to leave immediately after a few shots of the sunset. they told me that after 6:00pm I wont be able to go back to the city proper because there aint gonna be no boats anymore. as I left, the sky still looks amazing. again, I was lost somewhere…somewhere in pugaro. the sun, the sky, the sea and the kids..it was all perpfect!
arriving at the city proper of dagupan. the sky is still amazing!

sunset at diplomat hotel
if you are looking for the best sunset view in baguio, I would suggest the old diplomat hotel. I said this several times…”this place is my cherished retreat here in the city, this is where I go to think and meditate and to find myself.” I was accompanied by my friend kc who had a new dslr at that time and it was about to rain when we arrived here. the cloudy skies and the fact that it was about to rain that time must be the recipe for a beautiful sunset. the photos are taken using my friends dslr. “iba talaga ang kuha pag naka-dslr ka kasi malinaw kumpara sa gamit kong cellphone lang.”
fade away. I was just sitting here watching the sky fade away. It’s like my life passes by as the sky fades away. Asking myself why am I still here? What’s the purpose of living? Why should I go on. Like the sky, we are all bound to fade away at some point. Sometimes I just want to fade away…

TANGHALING TAPAT
sa isang tanghaling tapat
habang nagsasampay ng mga nilabhang damit
aking nakita
mapuputing mga ulap
at asul na langit
dagliang ako’y dumungaw
sa bintanay aking natanaw
isang tanawing sa akin ay pumukaw
kailangang ikay maging akin
kailangang magmadali
kailangang masulyapan
bago ka lumisan at tuluyang akoy iwan
sa wakas
aking naabot
pinakamimithing tuktok
maging akin ka lamang
subalit ikay lumisan
I found these old pics and I thought I might wanna share it to all of you guys. I miss Baguio so much. Everyone and everyting I’ve ever known is in Baguio. But I’m starting to like Manila though. They said that you will hate but at the same time love Manila. I guess they are right.
BAGUIO AT DUSK
sorry, the resolution of some of the pictures are not good. these are old pics from my memory card. taken from a camera phone so if the light is low it produces a lot of noise. anyhow, I still appreciate the color of the sky…baguio at dusk.

EARLY MORNING
one early morning after work. naglalakad pauwi kasi walang pamasahe. thinking how am I going to survive tomorrow and for the coming days…
I hate myself and my life. Ganito na lang palagi. Paulit-ulit na lang. The only thing I know for sure is that giving up is not an option.

Asiong32 Turns One!
I was lonely. I was lost. I was cold. I was hungry. I was scared. I was stupid. I was hurt. I was sad. I was broke. I was a nobody. I was you and you were me. I was here…
I am Asiong.
I take pictures. I tell stories.
I’m a manic depressive.
I was looking for happiness. I was looking for love. I was looking for hope. I was looking for myself.
I guess somehow I found it and I want to share it!
life is beautiful.
asiong32.blogspot.com turns one!

A Personal Post 2
HI,
MY NAME IS ASIONG
IM A MANIC DEPRESSIVE and I hate myself.
YEARS AGO I WAS DIAGNOSED WITH A UNIPOLAR DEPRESSIVE DISORDER.
A CERTAIN TYPE OF MENTAL ILLNESS.
BUT IM not CRAZY.
Im just sad and lonely.
im just sad all the time.
and my sadness doesn’t go away.
it sticks around for days,
weeks, months and years.
a visitor that doesn’t want to leave.
its like a parasite.
it drains you, consumes you, eats you. . .
taking every little bit of strength, courage and confidence in you.
it will take away even the last drop of hope in you.
it poisons you
paralyzes you
weakens you.
and eventually kills you.
and you will realized that it sucks to be you.
everybody hates you.
and then you hate you.
but he will befriend you and you will become inseparable...
this is an auto post.
by the time you're reading this, I'm already dead.
i already had enough. i'm giving up and now letting go.
